Jack Colletta, Joe Mattei, GNTN, Steve Bleas – Free Falling 3 tracks
Amongst our ranks, cross collaboration is something we pride ourselves on. Each of the artists on our roster being able to not only grow as individuals but also as a collective, pushing each other together as artists. It is our pleasure to introduce this next release, featuring two of our very own crew, Jack Colletta and Joe Mattei – who have teamed up with the vary talented Joe Jury on vocals to deliver a beautiful melodic composition; Free Falling. The original piece brings an intimate energy, hypnotic in the feeling between the vocals and synthesis, maintaining a balance with the dancefloor energy throughout the progression. Accompanying this release we have the return of Steve Bleas who has given us an upbeat rework to get those feet moving, and last but not least we welcome rising stars GNTN to our ranks who we’ve been exited to work with for some time have, whom of which have blessed us with their own driving melodic rendition.

Demayä, Calamar Crew, Moojo, Notre Dame, Alex Twin, SANDHAUS, Leon (FR), KLA, Mo-Shi, Coco – We Rise By Lifting Others 10 tracks
The album represents a strong friendship between the artists and their common passion for music. It’s uniqueness lies in the number of artists involved in it; 6 artists for 11 tracks with an active blend of creativity. A fusion between melodic House, with an Indie touch and ethnic percussions. The album allows each artist to fully express themselves, whilst keeping to a common middle ground throughout the songs. Black Coffee, Blondish, Da Mike and Pablo Fierro, are just a few of the incredible artists to have shown their support by playing our tracks. Calamar Records is based in Hong Kong, a city that echoes with our lifestyle, music, and urban environment. Those are the main reasons why we chose this city to develop this label. We want to convey our creativity through places we love. We rise by lifting others.

Nathan Inman – Digital Love EP 2 tracks
Sidney Charles’s Heavy House Society imprint drops the new release from the talented up and coming artist Nathan Inman, with a powerful 2 track EP titled ‘Digital Love EP’ to keep the dance floors moving this winter. Nathan Inman has emerged on to the scene with his unique style, earning him residencies at various parties across the country. Since his inception into the world of electronic music, he has embarked on a journey into crafting his own signature sound which is now taking shape as he builds a library of music spanning across multiple genres of underground music. Progressing through the different styles of the underground scene, he would best describe his sound as between minimal house and UKG sounds which can be heard in his productions & sets. For his first release Charles’ imprint he drops an excellent two track EP which is perfect for the dance floor. The lead and title track from the EP ‘Digital Love’ sits firmly in Charles’s favoured Minimal Deep Tech genre. It’s a track laden with a groove, touches of funk especially around the bassline grooves, using an iconic organ to bounce off the sub bass, before combining the incidentals and well worked vocal cuts. This is all killer and no filler. The second track is ‘Knock Back’ takes things deeper and more underground. With a wonky yet subtle bassline groove to give the track its principal identity, Inman adds some production flair and delivers the ideal b-side.
